Joboshare DVD Ripper 3.4

Joboshare DVD Ripper is aimed to rip video from DVD
3.4.4 (See all)

This program is aimed to rip video from DVD. It supports different sources, such as DVD discs, DVD folders and IFO files. Converting DVD movies to other formats allows you to watch them on different types of devices.
The program’s interface has a nice design with an appealing color combination. However, you are free to change its skin. Although it is a multi-language interface, it supports only three languages: English, Chinese and Polish. Due to the similarity of its layout to other similar software, if you are already familiar with rippers, you are unlikely to face any problems using this one. Once you have selected a DVD source, you can select an audio track, a subtitle and an angle, if available. Subtitles will be embedded in the output movie, which is an advantage if you intend to watch it on a device not supporting external subtitles. A list will also show the DVD’s contents, divided into titles and chapters, so that you can select only those you wish to convert. At this point, you can preview the movie and even trim it so that unwanted parts would not be converted. The quantity of supported output formats is impressive and in order to make them easier to choose, they are grouped into classes. Selecting one of these classes from the dropdown box will function as a filter for the profiles. Some of them are referred to by the name of a device, which means that if you choose one of the profiles belonging to a class, you can be certain that the outcome video will be supported by the intended device. Another feature lets you split the resulting file into chunks so that they fit different storage media, such as CDs and DVDs.
On the whole, Joboshare DVD Ripper is a fine application that does almost everything it is meant to do. However, perhaps you might want more powerful editing functions, which are available on other similar software.
